About Me

Hi, I’m Heather, a Cotswold-based wedding photographer. I live in Mickleton, a small village in Gloucestershire, with my husband and our two little ones.

If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’ve recently got engaged. Firstly, congratulations. It’s such an exciting and special time, and one that really does go far too quickly, so make sure you enjoy every moment of it.

I got married back in 2015, which somehow feels both not that long ago and a very long time ago. Having been a bride myself, I completely understand how important it is to find the right photographer, and just how much your wedding photographs come to mean over time.

I’ve been photographing weddings for around 15 years and have a huge amount of experience capturing all kinds of celebrations. I’m extremely proud to be a recommended wedding photographer at Cider Mill Barns, Mickleton Hills, Wootton Park and Foxhill Manor.

I believe the best way to show my work is through full, real wedding days. What you’ll see in my portfolio are genuine weddings, real emotions and honest moments.

I know being in front of the camera can feel a little uncomfortable, and most couples tell me they feel this way at first. That’s why my approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, allowing you to enjoy your day while I quietly capture the moments as they naturally happen.

Ultimately, my style is documentary with a splash of portrait photography. For most of the day I’ll blend into the background and let everything unfold naturally, but during couple and group photos I’ll gently guide you, so it all feels easy, relaxed and never forced.

I still have my own wedding photographs on display in my home, and it’s my goal to create the same for you. I focus on capturing the day as it truly happens, the moments you didn’t see, the reactions you missed, and the laughter shared with your favourite people. My aim is to deliver a gallery you can look back on in twenty years’ time and relive your wedding day all over again.

Heather
