Hello

Hi, I’m Heather, a Cotswold based wedding photographer. I live in Honeybourne, a small village on the borders of Warwickshire, Worcestershire & Gloucestershire, with my husband and my two little ones! I've always been a people person and love that my job allows me to meet new people everyday. I think my friends and family would describe me as very happy, fun loving and caring.

As a child, I always shied away from the more traditional topics and instead got pulled towards the art based subjects - especially photography, I got my first camera (a disposable Fujifilm!) when I was nine years old whilst on a family holiday. I remember sending the photos off to be developed and having to wait weeks before I got them back! I look back on that holiday as the point when I realised I wanted to be a photographer.

I began my career working in a studio, focusing on portraiture, and then expanded into wedding photography around ten years ago. Since then, I have been successfully running my own photography business and can honestly say I love what I do.

One of the common questions I’m asked about is regarding the equipment I use. Well... obviously I’ve moved on from the disposable camera! I'm now very proud to shoot weddings with some of the best kit available - including state of the art mirrorless Sony cameras and even DJI Drones for aerial photography. I use this equipment to capture some of the most precious memories of the lovely couples that choose to book me to take their wedding photos.

I would describe my style as a mixture of documentary and portrait photography. In general, I like to step back and capture the day as it unfolds, looking for those naturally beautiful moments. However, during the couple and group shots, I will give gentle direction to help you look and feel your absolute best.

If you'd like to hear more about me, my philosophy and shooting style then please watch the video below and get in touch via the contact page. I look forward to hearing from you!
